# How can I cancel my account? How long does the cancellation take?

How do I close my account?

Close all piggy banks first if you have opened them. Only then can you cancel your main account. You will find the «_Close account_» section in the settings.

_By tapping on_ «_Close account_»_, your Clanq account will be cancelled in no time at all. As soon as the cancellation process is complete, you will receive a notification from us. This usually takes 1-2 weeks._
