Click to Pay makes online card payments as easy as contactless payments in-store. The new payment method is now available for Cornèrcard Visa and Mastercard credit and prepaid cards.
No matter which device you use - smartphone, tablet, or laptop, with Click to Pay you can complete the checkout in the online shop with just a few clicks. After a one-time registration with Click to Pay, you no longer need to fill out forms or type in card numbers.
How exactly does Click to Pay work?
You need to register with Click to Pay once. This can be done, for example, via the Visa or Mastercard website – for both debit and credit cards.
When paying in an online shop, Click to Pay will appear as a new payment method. You will be recognized via your email address. This process starts automatically. You will see the “Click to Pay” symbol, your stored cards, and you can complete your purchase securely, quickly, and easily.
Additionally, every payment is tokenized. The merchant no longer receives your card number as before. Only the amount is authorized. The card data is anonymized. In the event of a hacker attack, the tokens in the hands of the hackers are worthless.
However, not everything is automated. Be careful when ordering: the delivery address is not automatically captured.
In online shops that do not support Click to Pay, you can still pay with your card as usual, but you will need to enter your details each time.
How do I register for Click to Pay?
