How can I avoid scams or hacking?

Cybersecurity

  • Phishing e-mails and fraudulent phone calls

If you receive a phone call, SMS, WhatsApp message or e-mail asking for information about your card, bank account or digital service access credentials, don’t respond to the request.

Remember: we will never ask you for this kind of information through these channels.

  • Passwords and access codes

Choose a strong password containing numbers, special characters as well as lower-case and upper-case letters and make sure it is at least eight characters long. Do not use the same password for more than one service. Pay particular attention to the security codes in your possession, do not share them and use them only if you are performing an operation within our digital services. Always check the content of the message received and check carefully why you received the code.

  • Stop - Reflect - Act

If in doubt, do not act on suspicious requests and check the situation carefully before acting. Don’t be fooled: always take time to reflect and, if necessary, talk to someone you trust.
