This could be due to one of the following reasons:
- your card is defective
- An error in the merchant terminal
- Your card is blocked
- there are country-specific restrictions
Try to pay again and insert your card into the payment terminal so that the chip can be read and enter your PIN. This will reset the limit for contactless payments.
