Setting individual savings goals and achieving them is a core function of Clanq. You will therefore find the "Set savings goal" button on the start page of your Clanq app.
To achieve your savings goals, you have the following function in Clanq:
Savings rules
The next option is to create and edit savings rules. These are automatic saving rules and automatic rounding up.
Automatic rounding up means that the sum of each card transaction is rounded up to the next full franc. If you have several piggy banks, the amount is transferred to the respective piggy bank. You define the amount for each piggy bank yourself.
Example: You go to the kiosk and pay CHF 2.60 with your Clanq card. The 40 centimes on the next full franc are automatically transferred from your account to the piggy bank.
Once a month, the amount in your safe for your piggy banks is distributed as you decide and then transferred collectively.
Example: You have been to the kiosk 10 times this month and have received 40 centimes in the safe each time. That makes a total of CHF 4. With 2 piggy banks, you decide how much money from the safe goes to the respective piggy bank.
With the automatic savings rules, you can decide for yourself how much X amount of savings Y is transferred to the piggy banks.
Example: Whenever you pay an amount higher than CHF 50 with Clanq, CHF 10 should be transferred to the piggy banks.
The sum of this savings rule is also collected in the safe and distributed to your piggy banks once a month.
